Bay Lawrence

Anthony N. Lawrence IV (Bay), goes by Bay after his great grandfather, who grew up on the Back Bay of Biloxi.

Bay was born and raised in Pascagoula, Mississippi, where he attended Resurrection Catholic High School. After graduating, Bay attended the University of Mississippi where he received a BBA in Economics and a Minor in Political Science. From there, Bay received a full academic scholarship to attend the University of Mississippi School of Law.

In law school, Bay excelled in the classroom graduating with honors of Cum Laude. After a school wide competition, Bay was one of just six students selected to join the Negotiation and Arbitration Board after his first semester. As a part of that group, Bay participated in the Tulane National Baseball Arbitration Competition and the Tulane Professional Football Negotiation Competition. Bay served as treasurer of the board and helped organize the very first competition on the Ole Miss Law School Campus, where law schools from all over the United States came to compete. 

After graduation, Bay joined Carr Allison in Gulfport where he practiced Civil Defense. He handled cases including Workers Compensation, Insurance Defense, Personal Injuries, Car Wrecks, Slip and Falls, and Construction Litigation. 

Bay Lawrence left Carr Allison in early 2022 and began focusing on Criminal Defense.

Bay routinely handles DUI’s, misdemeanor-related charges, and felony crimes ranging from simple drug crimes to Homicides.

Bay handles criminal cases from beginning to end. Bay guides his clients every step of the way, from assisting clients turning themselves into the police safely, procuring bonds, lowering bonds, Initial appearances, preliminary hearings, and Jury trials.

Bay has experience litigating personal injury cases and has fought to get compensation for his clients in cases ranging from minor car wrecks to medical malpractice and even wrongful death.
