Bay Lawrence joined the firm in early 2022 in the firm’s Criminal Defense division. Within two weeks, Bay received a Not Guilty in his first criminal trial. Weeks later, Bay secured his first dismissal in a felony criminal case. Specializing in only Criminal Defense, Bay routinely handles DUI’s, felony-related charges, and misdemeanor-related charges.
Bay Lawrence was born and raised in Pascagoula Mississippi, where he attended Resurrection Catholic High School. After graduating, Bay attended the University of Mississippi where he received a BBA in Economics and a Minor in Political Science. From there, Bay received a full academic scholarship to attend the University of Mississippi School of Law.
In law school, Bay excelled in the classroom graduating with honors of Cum Laude. After a school wide competition, Bay was one of just six students selected to join the Negotiation and Arbitration Board after his first semester. As a part of that group, Bay participated in the Tulane National Baseball Arbitration Competition and the Tulane Professional Football Negotiation Competition. Bay served as treasurer of the board and helped organize the very first coemption on the Ole Miss Law School Campus, where law schools from all over the United States came to compete.
After graduation, Bay joined Carr Allison where he practiced Civil Defense. Bay has experience handling cases including Workers Compensation, Insurance Defense, Personal Injuries, Car Wrecks, Slip and Falls, and Construction Litigation.
